Let's Move! is a comprehensive initiative, launched by First Lady Michelle Obama. It is dedicated to solving the problem of obesity within a generation so that children born today will grow up healthier and able to pursue their dreams. This is an ambitious goal. But with your help, we can do it.

Supporting Breastfeeding in Child Care
This course will introduce the importance of breastfeeding to children, mothers, and child care programs. Topics will include benefits of breastfeeding, risks of not breastfeeding, breastfeeding guidelines, and safe handling and storage of breast milk. Participants will identify ways for child care providers to support breastfeeding families. Participants will also learn strategies to improve breastfeeding promotion and support in both home and center-based child care settings.
Go Green Rating Scale-How to Go Green
In this course you will learn about the reasons why a Go Green environment is healthy for children and strategies to start the steps towards an environmental healthy setting.
Learning About Nutrition through Activities
This course will introduce ways to help children learn to eat more fruits and vegetables. Topics will include increasing opportunities for children to taste and eat fruits and vegetables; providing hands-on experiences with fruits and vegetables; creating supportive environments for healthy eating and positive role modeling; and connecting child care or classroom activities with home environment.
Aprendiendo Sobre Nutrición a través de Actividades
Este curso introducirá maneras nuevas y divertidas que ayudarán a que los niños aprendan a comer más frutas y verduras. Mealtimes Made Healthy
This course will introduce the principles of healthy meal planning. Topics will include menu development, basic nutrition, serving sizes for various age groups, special diets, recipes and mealtime environments. Participants will build meal plans using nourishing, appealing, tasty and kid-friendly recipes.
Becoming Mediawise
Maximize the benefits and minimize the harm of media on children through research, education and advocacy. Become familiar with current healthy practices, get resources and strategies to share with families, know current trends identified by the National Institute on Media and Family.
ABC's of Obesity
This course will present information about the prevalence of childhood obesity, factors that influence obesity and the resulting health effects. Participants will examine the role caregivers and parents play in developing healthy lifestyles for children. Participants will also explore comprehensive strategies to promote healthy weight in children.
Safety and Health
Safety seems like an easy topic, but it represents such a broad area it can sometimes be intimidating. Be a part of a group that will cover efficient ways to know you are running a safe and healthy program or household. Come prepared to help others by sharing best practices that have worked for you in the past.
