This module emphasizes professionalism, ethics, equity and cultural competence. Participants review codes of ethical conduct and standards relating to RBPD work; analyze how and when mandated reporting applies to RBPD specialists; apply the foundation of a code of ethical conduct and standards to ethical dilemmas; identify strategies to promote culturally responsive RBPD and to address bias, and practice applying the strategies.
