This module concentrates on creating and maintaining RBPD relationships. Participants discuss communication skills such as active listening and attending to non-verbal communication; generate and evaluate powerful questions to use in RBPD conversations; examine tools and processes for direct communication, clarifying expectations, roles and responsibilities; develop plans to build rapport; and practice addressing challenges in establishing RBPD relationships. In the last part of this module, participants investigate strategies for maintaining a trusting RBPD relationship; develop ongoing RBPD routines and processes; and generate solutions to challenges that may arise over the course of the RBPD relationship. This is module 4 of 6 in the RBPD Credential.
