In this course, participants will become well equipped to consider their ethical responsibilities and the importance of using an evidence based approach as adult educators. Included in this course is a discussion of the NAEYC Code of Ethics and Statement of Commitment, the NAEYC Code of Ethics Supplement for Early Childhood Adult Educators, professional wisdom and empirical evidence and how each relates to the training of adult learners. Participants will review adult learning styles and create a Personal Development Plan (PDP) to enhance the transfer of learning and encourage self-reflection.
