This course focuses on the planning and implementation of curriculum in family child care settings. Participants learn to identify diverse learning needs through observation, reflection and interactions. The challenges of implementing curriculum with diverse age groups is explored through effective teacher-child interaction techniques, such as scaffolding, explicit instruction, questioning and extended learning.
