Objectives: Describe ways to write a handbook that can work with families when concerns or conflicts are expressed. Create ideas to write sections of a child care handbook. Important Note: Providers should bring a copy of their current policies.

Objectives: Identify developmental skills in play experiences Create a strategy to share how play strengthens a child’s learning foundation with families. Create an understanding of how a child’s family culture is fundamental to being able to interpret the value of play to families.
